We aren’t seeing any kind of sports for a couple of months. It sucks but it’s what we gotta deal with for now. If you’re like me, you’re probably stuck inside trying to think of something to do to keep yourself from being bored, one of the best ways to do that is by playing video games.

Apparently NASCAR drivers feel the same.

One of the biggest trends that have become popular for drivers is to participate in IRacing events and this is one big way that drivers not only kill time but practice at certain tracks. Since the postponements, IRacing has been ramping up not just for amateurs but for the pros as well.

Even Dale Jr. is an avid user of the system and has decided to team up with NASCAR and IRacing to host their own event that has been named the Proinvitational that will feature drivers from Cup all the way down to the Truck series and will compete in an online championship.

It’s not the real thing, but any kind of competition where our favorite drivers are competing is much invited.
